Order by location, shoot by location
Scripts run in story order and shoot days do not. Grouping by setup is what stops a crew relighting the same corner three times, and it is the single biggest saving available on a one-day shoot.

Build the list in the browser and export it for the crew. Grouped by location, because that is the order you will actually shoot in, not the order the script runs.
Describe the film and let an assistant draft the list. It comes back grouped by location with sizes, movement and capture times already filled in, and every row stays editable here.

Your list is kept in this browser as you type, so a refresh will not lose it. Nothing is uploaded. CSV opens in Sheets, Excel or Numbers; the EDL drops onto a Resolve or Premiere timeline as correctly-lengthed placeholders, so the edit has a scaffold before the rushes land.

NOTEWorth knowing
Scripts run in story order and shoot days do not. Grouping by setup is what stops a crew relighting the same corner three times, and it is the single biggest saving available on a one-day shoot.
Not how long the shot runs on screen — how long it takes to get. A locked-off insert is ten minutes; a tracking shot with talent is an hour. Totalling that column is how you find out the day does not fit before you are standing in it.
Days run late. Decide in advance which shots the edit genuinely cannot survive without, and note it, so the call to drop something at 5pm is made against a plan rather than a mood.
No key and no account with us. You describe the shoot, copy the prompt the tool builds, and paste it into whichever assistant you already pay for. It replies with JSON, you paste that back, and the list fills in grouped by location. Nothing is sent to our servers, and every row stays editable afterwards.
ENDWhen planning is done
The tools handle the arithmetic. Directing, animating and cutting the thing is the part we are actually for.
